Whoever said I was too big for this napping place is a liar. See I fit just fine.

Now I’m not saying it might take a moment for me to totally uncurl from this position but hey, that is where cat yoga comes in handy. ~Neko

Miss Me

20170804_192452

This is the look I have been getting for being away so long. Neko has been scolding me about not posting photos of him and the rest of the Cat’s Eye Gang. I tried to explain to him that since my computer crashed as a way to tell me it didn’t like the new Windows upgrade; it had been a tad bit hard to post anything. As you can see Neko wasn’t buying my excuse, so here you have it, folks. My first post since the middle of July.

Neko in all of his scolding glory. Did you miss me?

Appreciating Black Cats

It has been a few days since I posted. I had some technical difficulties, but I have them fixed for the moment. To make up for my missed daily posts I thought I would give you a few pictures of two of my favorite black cats.

Neko as a kitten. Hard to believe he was ever this small.

Neko thinks even his shadow is cute; he’s right of course but please don’t tell him I said that.

spooks

You might think this is Neko but you would be wrong. This is Neko’s doppelganger, Spooky. He is a stray that has adopted us. He was injured in a neighborhood cat fight when he was just a kitten and ended up under a bush in our front yard. My niece felt bad for him so she began bringing him food and water while he recovered. Long story short he fell in love with her and when he had healed a bit took up residence in our back yard. Which he guards with the ferocity of a lion. Neko and Spooks will stand nose to nose with only the patio door between them and play the mirror game in which if one moves a certain way the other mirrors it. It is one of their favorite games.

For anyone who follows me and checked out my author’s page, you will know I am currently writing a book with the cats that share our life as the models for the characters. I called our little clowder of cats, The Cat’s Eye Gang. If you would like to find out more about my book please stop by and visit my author’s page at R.A. Buster- Writer & Blogger. If you check out my blog, you will find my book which I post as I am writing it. In all of its first draft glory. Let me know what you think and please feel free to subscribe to get each new installment as it is being written.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the two black cats that bring luck into my life.

Cat Fancy?

“Hey, Bo is that Dominic on Meowmy’s puter screen? Does this mean he’s famous?” Neko purrs to his cousin.

“Nah, he isn’t famous. It’s just Auntie posting all those pictures she takes of us. Watch out! Too late she got us. Bet ya some Purina Temptations, that we are in the next post.” Bo teased Neko.

“Why do I think I will be losing this bet, Bo?”

Neighborhood Watch

Remember to always keep an eye on the neighborhood. You never know when some strange cat will stroll into your yard or the lizards will come sun themselves right outside the window just to tease you. I will catch another one to give to Meowmy one of these days. ~Dominic

The house panther lies in wait for his unsuspecting prey. Stealth mode has been initiated. I will get those irritating birdies one of these days. ~Neko

Territorial Boundaries

Bo  Jangles, Gizmo, Neko, and CeCe

Hey, guys, I think that you might want to see about spreading the territories farther than my bed. The only sane one of the day seemed to be Dominic. He chose to have the whole underneath of the bed.

Bo and Gizmo being the studly males they are were trying to impress CeCe who was not even phased. She was napping. I think Neko was acting as referee. The adjustment period continues.
