New Family Member

I am sorry for how long it has taken for me to post. It has been a rough few month’s. I had thought I had posted a photo of our newest family member and the latest inductee to The Cat’s Eye Gang. So let me introduce you to Tilikum. Tilly for short.

A two month old Russian Blue kitten.
Here is Tilikum (Tilly). He is my niece Jasmin’s baby. She needed someone to help with her anxiety and panic attacks and this little fellow reached out his not so little paw and touched her heart. It was a match made in Heaven.

One of the few down times for this rambunctious fellow. I honestly think my Mom and Jasmin’s other grandma got together in Heaven and sent him to help her grieving process. She lost both her grandma’s within a space of about ten months.

As Tilly has been introduced to the other members of The Cat’s Eye Gang, it has been interesting. The gang isn’t very welcoming to outsiders but Tilly is slowly but surely winning them over.

Outside Looking In

Spooky black cat
Our stray begger, who we have named Spooky because he likes to scare you.

Hi. My name at this house is Spooky. I am known by several in the neighborhood. I rule this backyard like a kingdom. I don’t let any other cats trespass in it. I have a older twin who lives inside. We like to mirror each other at the patio door.

It took awhile for the woofie inside to like me but now he will share my food and water which the nice humans provide for me. He also warms up a spot for me to sleep at night. Good woofie.

When I was a kitten I got injured and I came to this backyard to heal. The people really worry about me like I am one of their own. Well I think of them as mine so it is equal.

The Relaxation Technique

If you are looking to do some relaxing, say on a rainy Caturday, look no further than the closest bed and the host of pillows to be found there. My favorite is the one that is nicknamed “the Noodle”. Don’t ask me why, unless it is because once you wrap yourself around it, you become a noodle. Anyways, this is my favorite place to while away the hours.

My relaxation technique is to see if I can stretch out as far as “the Noodle” goes. So far this is how far I have gotten before the power of said “Noodle” takes me into slumber.  ~Gizmo
