Is your day going at a snail’s pace? Every time I look at the clock I expect hours to have passed. What do I find? That old hour hand moving slowly into the next hour. As they say slow and steady wins the race, well we need to speed the race up a bit today.
When I began taking pictures, my main reason was to capture the pretty lilac flowers. Yet I found it filled with butterflies already. This little guy(or girl) stayed still so I could capture its beauty. Not bad when you consider it was quite windy today.
The picture below is of another who posed for their portrait. Of course, the wind was not aiding me in the capture of this moment.
I bet you thought I was going to post something about babies. Well I did. The huge Prickly Pear Cactus (Opuntia) in our backyard is covered with babies. Soon there will be flowers to join the wee ones. This winter was especially hard on it, and we thought it was dead. Yet it refused to die. Now it is covered with fresh growth everywhere.
