I thought about calling this post “Da Birds” but decided to just title it as you see.
I grew up being told that birds fly south for the winter. I grew up in West Central Illinois. For some reasons I always thought of Florida never Texas. As you can see they do come here to the Lone Star state.
This was at the end of the day. And doesn’t even begin to show all of the feathered creatures. Of course I had to get one with them in flight.
Okay, I have to do it. “Da birds, da birds. 🐦☺️
The full moon as it was rising over our sleepy little town. It brightened the night sky, guiding us into the last days of August.

What? I was filing this away for a rainy day. It is a bit big for the top drawer but it is definitely top shelf. 😉
Neko has his serious face on. He looks like a real boss kitty. The truth is his pain medicine has kicked in and he is feeling just right.

Woke up to the rose bush outside my bedroom full of these beautiful pink roses. I am always cheered by them. Fun part of living in Texas is that they bloom year round.
When studying shades of brown it always helps if you have a brown tabby to use in said study. Miss CeCe was happy to oblige.
When bathing, always remember to clean in all the grooves. Just like I am showing here by cleaning in between my toes. I know. Toe jam is a draw back but the things one does to be a handsome fella like me. ~Dominic
