Black Cat Day

I hope you all enjoy this Black Cat Holiday aka Halloween aka All Hallow’s Eve… you get the picture. I am patiently waiting for the witching hour. I hope your day is filled with laughter and lots of candy.

For their safety, please keep your kitties inside on this day. It may fun for us, but for others,  it is a time for mischief and mayhem. We need to keep our furbabies safe and happy.

Neko In Need

Black cat sitting next to computer keyboard.

Neko hasn’t been feeling well lately. He is in need of dental surgery stemming from an infection in a scratch he received in a fight with a foster cat we had. Please go check out this link Neko Vet Fund to help me get him the care he needs. Read the full story on my Go Fund Me page. If you can’t donate, please still share with others.

Great Beginnings

Come back to bed Meowmy, snuggling is the greatest way to start the weekend. I mean, how can you resist a cuddle buddy like me? ~Neko

Study in Brown

Brown tabby cat lying on a tan blanket.

When studying shades of brown it always helps if you have a brown tabby to use in said study. Miss CeCe was happy to oblige.

Getting Into The Groove.

Gray and white cat taking a bath.

When bathing, always remember to clean in all the grooves. Just like I am showing here by cleaning in between my toes. I know. Toe jam is a draw back but the things one does to be a handsome fella like me. ~Dominic

Piggy Boy

Black cat with his lunch all over his face.

Yes, I do get into my mama’s homemade pureed kitty food. It is so good and I get so hungry. What do you mean I have something on my face? ~Neko

I Am My Own Valentine

Tabby cat looking very regal.
I am my own Valentine.

Who needs validation from anyone else? I am the queen of this house. I deserve adoration and love year round not on just one measly day. ~CeCe

Looking Back.

Neko as a three month old kitten
Neko at three months.

I still find it hard to believe how tiny he was. All long legs. He reminded me of a spider monkey. And he was a clinger from the first moment I held him. He climbs up on my shoulder and that is where he stays as we walk around the house.

We both were searching for comfort when we found each other and I can only hope I have given him as much comfort as he has given me. He is my light in the darkness.
