I Am My Own Valentine

Tabby cat looking very regal.
I am my own Valentine.

Who needs validation from anyone else? I am the queen of this house. I deserve adoration and love year round not on just one measly day. ~CeCe

Outside Looking In

Spooky black cat
Our stray begger, who we have named Spooky because he likes to scare you.

Hi. My name at this house is Spooky. I am known by several in the neighborhood. I rule this backyard like a kingdom. I don’t let any other cats trespass in it. I have a older twin who lives inside. We like to mirror each other at the patio door.

It took awhile for the woofie inside to like me but now he will share my food and water which the nice humans provide for me. He also warms up a spot for me to sleep at night. Good woofie.

When I was a kitten I got injured and I came to this backyard to heal. The people really worry about me like I am one of their own. Well I think of them as mine so it is equal.

Looking Back.

Neko as a three month old kitten
Neko at three months.

I still find it hard to believe how tiny he was. All long legs. He reminded me of a spider monkey. And he was a clinger from the first moment I held him. He climbs up on my shoulder and that is where he stays as we walk around the house.

We both were searching for comfort when we found each other and I can only hope I have given him as much comfort as he has given me. He is my light in the darkness.

Personal Space

Neko looking very disturbed.

Why in the world do you have to disturb my personal space, Meowmy? You do know you have a zoom thingy on your camera, right? Here let me show you how to use it. ~Neko
