New Family Member

I am sorry for how long it has taken for me to post. It has been a rough few month’s. I had thought I had posted a photo of our newest family member and the latest inductee to The Cat’s Eye Gang. So let me introduce you to Tilikum. Tilly for short.

Here is Tilikum (Tilly). He is my niece Jasmin’s baby. She needed someone to help with her anxiety and panic attacks and this little fellow reached out his not so little paw and touched her heart. It was a match made in Heaven.

One of the few down times for this rambunctious fellow. I honestly think my Mom and Jasmin’s other grandma got together in Heaven and sent him to help her grieving process. She lost both her grandma’s within a space of about ten months.

As Tilly has been introduced to the other members of The Cat’s Eye Gang, it has been interesting. The gang isn’t very welcoming to outsiders but Tilly is slowly but surely winning them over.

Feed Me

Oh! Look what mommy has to eat. TURKEY. I like TURKEY. Mommy open this, I need to eat some TURKEY!!!!

Really?? You are going to take my picture instead of feeding me this glorious TURKEY?? You are a mean mommy. I wish I had thumbs because this would be so in my tummy. ~~Miss CeCe

Pedicures

It’s pretty bad when a girl has to do her own pedicure. These claws don’t do themselves. But on a bright note I have some gorgeous toe beans. ~CeCe

A Reason to Celebrate

Today is my handsome boy’s sixth birthday. If you would have told me back then how much he would mean to me, I probably would have laughed at you. Not because I would have thought it impossible, I just didn’t think there would ever be a cat to replace my Pooh Bear in my heart.

Now I realize that I didn’t have to worry about Neko replacing Pooh. I learned that my heart was big enough for both of my boys.

So here is my beautiful Neko Dubh posing on his birthday.

Not Enough Room

Of course there is never enough room for everyone when someone is a window hog. That’s okay. I’ll just use you for a cushion. ~Dominic

the Study Of Sunbeams.

On these short winter days, it is always a blessing to find a gift from the sun gods. When one finds such a gift, one must lay down and worship the sunbeam. ~CeCe

Lack Of Privacy

Recuperating

Neko ended 2018 by having dental surgery. His hair still hasn’t grown back from the shaving for his IV. He is slowly getting back to his old self except for some reason he is scared of Bo Jangles. He had lost so much weight I am impatient for him to gain it all back.

I have to say please keep up with your furbabies dental care. Poor Neko lost ten teeth due to a nasty infection. He may never be able to nibble on his favorite treat(Temptations) again. If you don’t want to brush their teeth, there are toys and snacks designed to help keep their teeth healthy.

Also regular check-ups are good to keep in mind. Let this new year be the start of a beautiful smile for your furbabies. They will be grateful.

Neko In Need

Neko hasn’t been feeling well lately. He is in need of dental surgery stemming from an infection in a scratch he received in a fight with a foster cat we had. My Buddy

Magic, the Wonder Dog has been my buddy since I walked in the door. He still is trying to understand the fascination I have with the white tip of his tail. We are the official greeting team. He barks his welcome and warning, and I greet each visitor personally. ~Neko
